Getting Started

Follow these easy steps to get started using the apps from phpfoxapps.com.

1. Sign-up a new phpfoxapps account.

Clicking "sign-up" on the top right corner of the page, you will be asked for a full name, email, password, membership type and other information. After click the "Sign up" button, you will see a page with information of verifying your email address. Go to your email account and verify the registration by clicking the verification link sent by phpfoxapps.com.

2. Find the app you want.

Browse the apps by clicking “Applications” on the left side menu. Find the one you want to install, then click the icon or the title of the app, you will be brought to a page with detailed information of the app.

3. Install app.

Click "Install Now" button below the title of the app, you will be directed to the installation page. Input your phpfox API file URL. This is the URL of your phpfox site. Make sure the URL end with a slash '/'. Then click "Install" button below. Personal membership can only install each app to one website.

4. Save "Call Home URL".

After installation, a "Call Home URL" is generated. Copy this "Call Home URL".

5. Create the App on your phpfox website.

Go to your phpfox website, click "Apps" on the top menu. Then click "Create an App" button. Input the app name and select category from the dropdown list. Then click "Submit" button.

You will be brought to "Editing App" page,

click the "URL", paste the "Call Home URL" and click "Update" button.

You will see "APP ID" on the "Editing App" page, copy the value to back to the field named "APP ID" on the Manage Installed Application page of phpfoxapps.com, click "Update" button.

6. Install phpFox API Extensions Plugin

Make sure your phpFox site had installed our free plugin - phpFox API Extensions Plugin

Your app is installed and you are all done.
